IMD issued yellow alerts in Rayalaseema and South Coastal areas from May 20 to 21

The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), Amaravati, issued a special announcement on Monday May, with heavy rain expected on the South Coast Andhra Pradesh (SCAP) and Rayalaseema on May 20 and 21.

IMD also listed several steps to keep safe, including unplugging electrical/electronic appliances during heavy rains, not taking shelter under trees, poles, away from bodies of water, wires, wires, wires, suspended agricultural operations, and more.
