IPL debut

Raj was received by Mumbai Indians (MI) for Rs 30 million in IPL 2025 Mega-auction. On April 4, Raj entered the Mumbai Indians XI, but had no time to show his skills as his team suffered a 12-shot defeat by the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG). Raj is an intermediate batsman who can make aggressive knocks in the middle stages.

Raj made his debut in Chandigarh in February 2021-22 against Hyderabad in February 2021-22. He delivered a ticket gate for the first time.
