NEP 2020 aims to promote regional languages, not impose Hindi: Mos Home Nityanand Rai

Guwahati: Nityanand Rai’s coalition home secretary said Wednesday that one of the main goals of National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 is to promote regional languages ​​across the country and urged people to be reluctant to pay for rumors, claiming that it is to impose Hindi on the people of the country.

At an interactive and meeting in the Siaha region of Mizoram, Rai Prime Minister Narendra Modi took the development of the Northeast country as a priority. An overall developed India depends to a large extent on the development of the Northeast countries.

He urged the people of the region to work with various border security forces deployed in the region to ensure national security.
He also spoke about the Citizenship Amendment, which aims to grant citizenship to religious minorities in Pakistan, Bangladesh and Afghanistan.

The Minister declared that this was done to provide security for religious minorities from these countries and reaffirmed the secular nature of India.


He met with Mizoram Chief Minister Lalduhoma in Aizawl earlier and discussed various matters in the state.
