State record attendance rate for the first day of the SSC exam is 98.27

The state recorded an attendance rate of 98.27 on the first day of the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) board exam on Monday (March 17).

School Education Director Vijay Rama Raju said in a press release that the first language exam went smoothly.

Of the 6,27,277 registered students, 6,16,451 were taking the exam and 10,826 were absent, according to the press release. The examination is conducted by the Andhra Pradesh Secondary Education Commission in 3,450 examination centres.

The Flying Team inspected 1,545 centers on the first day. Mr Vijaya Rama Raju said in a press release that during an inspection at a school in the Kurnool area, two students were found to be addicted to malfeasance and died from the examination.
