Meanwhile, regarding the White House clash with members of the U.S. judiciary in Venezuelan gang expelled from Tren de Aragua from El Salvador, Levitt said, “We are fully confident that we will win the case in court.”
“The government once again acts within the scope of the law within the president’s constitutional body and has the powers granted to him under the Foreign Enemy Act. We are totally confident that we will win the case in court,” Levitt said.

However, U.S. District Court Judge James Boasberg verbally ordered the government to temporarily stop deportation for 14 days, questioning the government’s power to use the bill. He also directed that any aircraft carrying the deported oil would return to the United States.
Still flying to their destination in El Salvador, the White House believes the plane had left U.S. territory before the judge’s written order was issued.
“All judges left all planes on U.S. territory before the judge’s written order,” Karoline Leavitt said.
“As to whether oral orders have the same weight as written orders, our attorneys are determined to ask and answer these questions in court.”
According to Shan, Judge Boothberg arranged a Monday night hearing (local time) to determine if the government violated his order.
Meanwhile, the Trump administration appealed Boasberg’s ruling, a case that could move forward quickly in the Supreme Court.
