A young girl from Bhagalpur, Bihar, takes pride in her state and country for her extraordinary achievements. Shrishti Chiraniya, a student at Jamshedpur, a U.S. National Institute of Technology (NIT), has provided an annual package of Rs 1.223 crore by a U.S. company, specializing in cloud data management and data security. This is the highest package any student at NIT Jamshedpur has received so far.
Dreams become reality
Shrishti of Navgachiya from Bhagalpur is pursuing computer science and engineering at NIT Jamshedpur. She attributes her success to her hard work and dedication. “I want to start engineering since I was a kid,” Shrishti said. When she was admitted to NIT, her focus on learning was on rewards and now she has achieved an excellent position.
Mother’s Pride
Shrishti’s mother, Mamta Chiraniya, expressed her joy and pride, saying: “The significant achievement of her daughter is the key to the overall success of her mother.” She stressed the importance of providing a quality education to children, which was paid off in the case of Shrishti.
NIT Jamshedpur’s impressive position record in 2024
NIT Jamshedpur received an impressive position of 93.76% in 2024, with 631 of the 673 B.Tech students receiving placement. The Ministry of Metallurgy achieved a perfect 100% placement rate. In addition, 125 M.Tech and 80 MCA students were placed, with the highest salary package of Rs 40.33 crore per year and the minimum salary of Rs 8.73 crore per year.
New initiatives from NIT Jamshedpur
In August 2024, NIT Jamshedpur launched evening courses for its graduate courses, including M.Tech’s data science and smart manufacturing courses, as well as nine other programs in seven departments.
