A few days before the wedding, a man was fatally stabbed at Rennes Fair; personal hatred suspected of being motivated

A man was fatally stabbed by an unidentified person in the early hours of Monday (14 April 2025) in Rein Bazaar, Hyderabad, just days before his wedding. The deceased was identified as Masidine and is scheduled to get married on Saturday (April 19, 2025).

Police confirmed he had a criminal record and was listed as a noisy menu at the Falaknuma police station.

Police said the incident occurred between 1 and 1.15 a.m. Monday. “Masiuddin was reportedly distributing wedding invitations when he was ambushed and attacked with a knife. Arif Khan and another person were suspected of being involved in the attack, which is believed to have occurred under the influence of alcohol,” police said.

The attackers immediately fled the scene after the attack. After the alarm, police arrived at the area, blocked the area, and transferred the body for examination.

Investigators suspect individual competition may be the motive for the murder. CCTV footage nearby is being reviewed and forensic evidence is collected as part of the investigation. The case has been registered and the investigation is currently underway.
