A 72-year-old woman died in a Kerala road transport company, cars and pickup truck, and over 20 people were injured in a Kerala road transport company, cars and pickup truck in Karuvatta, near Haripad.
The deceased has been identified as Saraswathi Amma, a resident of Poonthoppu, Alappuzha. She traveled in a car with her daughter Sreekala, son Rajagopalan and her two children, including a seven-month-old baby, when the accident happened around 8 a.m. and the family was heading to the Temple of Manala Sala.
Mr Rajagopalan is reportedly in serious condition. The injured include passengers on the bus and drivers of the pickup truck.
