A modest Chicago elementary school student Robert Prevost rose up with a senior father to become the first pope in America
He is the leader of the Catholic Church and the “father” of more than one billion people.

Born in September 1955 at the Chicago Mercy Hospital in Robert Prevost, he was taken home1,200 sq.ft brick house in Uaint in Dalton Illinois.
His parents, Mildred Martinez and Louis Prevost, purchased the property in 1949 on a mortgage of $42 per month.
Louis was a World War II naval hero, while his mother, Mildred, was a librarian.
After the war, he became the principal of the school district.
“She is one of the ladies we call the church ladies,” Marianne Angarola, 69, a Pope-graduated, told Mildred’s Chicago Sun Times.
Angarola said the family went to religious services every day, and Mildred organized a church fundraiser.

Another childhood friend and neighbor of Prevost, Noelle Neis, 69, noted that he was the smartest boy in her class.
“Back to the day, they used to arrange us through our classroom performances, so he always sat in the first row of the first row,” Nice told the Media.
But his academic rigor did not escape his friendly and playful nature.
“He is also a little liar. I used to poke the back of my head with a pencil because I was a kid.
“So, he definitely has a sense of humor that many people don’t know because he’s not that outgoing.”

Prevost was appointed five years later and received his Canon Law Doctor from the University of St. Thomas Aquinas in Rome Washington Post Report.
While promoting religious education, he taught high school mathematics in schools near the school where he grew up.
Most of his holy career was sent overseas, especially in Peru, where he was sent to serve as a missionary and professor in 1985.
His travel means he will be fluent in Spanish, Portuguese, Italian and French as well as in English.
In 1999, he returned to the Medal of the Midwest Leader of St. Augustine, according to the Chicago Sun Times.
During his tenure, Prevost faced criticism for allowing a pastor accused of child sexual abuse to live in Augustine’s Abbey near a Catholic school in Providence, Rhode Island.
