A moment of uninsured learner driver ran away after killing a woman after being sentenced to 11 years in jail

It was a shocking moment when an uninsured learner driver ran away after killing a woman in a horrible frontal crash.

Khizer Ali, 24, smashed his mother’s VW Golf into Vauxhall Meriva with Valerie Ayres, 65, and her husband, 70, is heading to the store.

Dashcam video shows Ali speeding at 59 mph in the 40 mph area before the fatal crash of the A441 in Redditch, Worcestershire on April 23 last year.

Mrs. Ayers was killed immediately when her husband suffered horrible life injuries.

Ali of Redditch admitted to pleading guilty to a range of crimes at Worcester Crown Court, including the death of dangerous driving.

On Friday, May 16, he was sentenced to 11 years and three months in prison and was banned from driving for 12 and a half years.

The court heard that Ali only had a temporary license and he had been driving his sister’s car but exchanged with her to get into his mother’s golf ball.

The car is a power plan vehicle, and only his mother and sister are insured.

The golf’s dashboard lens captures the moment when sisters Sanaa Shahzad show him how to operate an automatic car.

After she changed her car on a car wash on Hewell Road in Redditch, she asked him to use it while on an eyelash date.

During his reckless journey, Ali left the car wash, and on the golf trajectory, he impressed the 62 mph clock at 30 mph.

He also almost missed, a car was in the opposite direction under the railway bridge.

Ali walked twice around a roundabout twice, walking too fast, ignoring the designated lane, and then driving onto the Alvechurch highway on the full throttle.

He finally lost control and smashed straight to Valerie and David’s Vauxhall on the wrong side of the road.

Video shows him escaping from the scene and then being arrested shortly afterwards at his home.

Ali’s sister, Sanaa Shahzad, 20, pleaded guilty to two counts of causing or allowing the use of a vehicle without a valid insurance or license.

Before she asked her brother to drive, she borrowed a car from another unknown person.

Shazaad also acknowledged that further charges of passwords or PINs would be rejected under Section 49 (RIPA) of the Investigation Force Act 2000.

She was released on bail and sentenced to all charges on Thursday, June 26.

Detective Officer Ross Hughes of the Simika Police Department said: “He [Ali] He should never be behind the steering wheel of the car when he did not hold a full driver’s license that day, which made the public completely ignore the public’s safety, which made him drive recklessly and dangerously, exacerbated the incident.

“We hope that this sentence and the tragic result will teach a shocking lesson about the reasons for speed limits and the reasons for driving regulations, and they want to drive the steering wheel without passing the exam or driving the steering wheel in this thoughtless and selfish way, which puts so many people at risk.

‘Ali should never drive again. Criminals like him have no place in our path.

“His sister Shahzad also took some responsibility for the outcome of the tragedy. She should never tilt his car, especially since she knew he was an uninsured learner driver.

  • Death caused by driving a vehicle without a license or insurance
  • Increased vehicle ride and dangerous driving

After the sentence, Mrs. Ayers’ devastating family pays tribute to her.

Her husband David said: “Val is the life and soul of the party. We did everything together.

“Val is so bubbles and fun, we used to call her, she keeps doing stupid things to make people laugh and there’s a great time wherever she goes.

“My life was turned upside down and I couldn’t express how much I miss Val and hope the whole thing never happened.

Val is an amazing woman, the best.

“Val was stuck by me by my thick and thinness, and I fell in love with that day with all my heart until the day when I died. ”

Lucy, the couple’s daughter, added: “My mom is my best friend and we have been spending time together and people have said that I’ve never seen my mother and daughter so close.

“I can’t tell you what this man not only took me away, but also took my family.

Mom is the only person I will talk to, who am I talking to now?

“Every day, I wish I could pick up the phone and listen to her voice, share my thoughts, and tell me that everything would be fine.

“We were on vacation with Dad not long ago, but that wasn’t the case, mom was the glue in our family, let’s keep moving forward.”

Last year, 56 people were killed and 516 were seriously injured in road traffic collisions in Herefordshire, Shropshire and Worcestershire.
