Haji made a pilgrimage last summer 2025 until 2042

Saudi National Meteorological Center (NCM) announced that the 2025 North Korea season will mark the last decline of Islamic pilgrimage during the summer peaks over the next 16 years. Starting in 2026, the annual pilgrimage will transform into a cooler season, namely spring, and then winter, and it will take about 10 days of annual roaming in the Islamic calendar.

According to NCM’s forecast, HAJ will be in spring 2026-2033 and winter from 2034-2041.

This seasonal shift was intended to keep millions of pilgrims in competition for extreme temperatures for a long time during the summer. In 2024, Mecca experienced heat between 46°C and 51°C, resulting in more than 2,700 heat seepagers and several heat-related deaths in one day.

To address weather-related challenges, the kingdom has launched 33 new weather monitoring stations during Haj in 2024 and has expanded the use of its mobile radar system for real-time climate tracking at pilgrimage sites.

HAJ 2025 is expected to begin on Friday, June 6 and end on Wednesday, June 12, but the moon can be seen. The pilgrimage is held every year from the last month of the Islamic calendar on Dhul Hijjah on the 8th to 12th.
