Charlie Munger wants Donald Trump to be the last person to become president of the United States: “Waglori, fluffy…”

Since taking over as U.S. President for the second time, Donald Trump has been at the center of the stage, a development that has affected all countries around the world. His recent big moves have been leveraging a series of tariffs imposed on 184 countries including China, India, Vietnam, and the EU. Amid Donald Trump’s policy announcement, the late Berkshire Hathaway vice chairman Charlie Munger was interviewed in 2011.
What does Charlie Munger say to Donald Trump?
In the current virus interview, Charlie Munger was asked about the opinion of Donald Trump, who has not yet entered the White House.
“I’m interested in what Donald Trump thinks about politics and economics. Trump has been saying in the media that he is a very successful businessman and knows how to run the country better than running now. He told me that many of the leaders we have in the administration now, and many of the leaders we have in the administration now are not very smart. Donald Trump will be a strong president,” the visitor asked Charlie Munger.
To this end, the late ACE investor said he wanted the last person he wanted to be the U.S. president was Donald Trump. Republican leaders took over as U.S. president for the first time in 2016, and then made a comeback in 2024.
He said: “Well, he might be decisive. But, I think Donald Trump is the ideal decision-maker or the manager of anything? The answer is no. The last person, almost, I want to be president of the United States is Donald Trump.”
When asked why, Charlie Munger said Trump had traits that made him “inappropriate” in the position.
“Well, I think his quality makes him unsuitable for the office,” he said.
Speaking of quality, Munger said: “Waglory, relief is largely true. I can keep going.”
Before Donald Trump became president for the first time, he reiterated his views in 2016.
“My attitude is that no one who makes money in a casino is ethical,” he said.
Charlie Munger diverted his opinion on Donald Trump
However, in 2017, Berkshire Hathaway vice-chairman and Warren Buffett turned around on Donald Trump.
Once criticized, Munger said Trump “is nothing wrong”.
“I’m getting softer. President Donald Trump is not wrong in everything. Just because he’s not like us, please work hard.
