New Delhi: At least five terrorists suspected of banning terrorist outfits were identified as those killed in a May 7 strike in Pakistan, sources said on Saturday.
They said one of them was Mudassar Khadian Khas alias Mudassar alias Abu Jundal, they said, adding that he was in charge of Markaz Taiba in Muridke.
The wreath representing Pakistan Army Chief Asim Munir and Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz were put at his funeral. They noted that his funeral prayers were held at a government school, led by Hafiz Abdul Rauf of Jud (designated global terrorist).
Parker Army Lieutenant General and Punjab Police IG attended the prayer ceremony.
JEM founder Maulana Masood Azhar’s brother Hafiz Muhammed Jameel was also killed. He was in charge of Markaz Subhan Allah in Bahawalpur, and was striken.
Sources said he was actively involved in the fundamental indoctrination of Jem’s youth and fundraising activities.
Mohammad Yusuf Azhar also has alias for Ustad Ji, Mohd Salim and Ghosi Sahab and has a connection with JEM and was also killed.
Masood Azhar’s brother-in-law was wanted in the IC-814 hijacking case and participated in multiple terrorist attacks in Jamu and Kashmir.
Let of Jem and Abu Akasha of Mohammad Hassan Khan are two other terrorists killed in operations of nine terrorists in Pakistan and Pakistan.
Khalid has participated in multiple terrorist attacks in Jamu and Kashmir and smuggled weapons from Afghanistan.
His funeral in Fasarabad was attended by senior Pakistani army officers and deputy commissioner Fasarabad, sources said.
Khan is the son of Mufti Asghar Khan Kashmiri, the operation commander of Jem of Pakistan-occupied Kashmir.
Sources said he played a key role in coordinating the investigation of terrorist attacks in Mu and Kashmir.
