ACB Raid Property by Kakinada Regional Registrar

The Rajahmundry-wide Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) raided the property of Kakinada area registrar K. Ananda Rao on Thursday. The defendant official accepted a bribe of Rs 10,000 on March 28 and was trapped by the ACB.

Investigators booked a disproportionate asset case against Mr Rao, and police searched his family’s property. Mr. Rao was appointed as a stenographer in 1995 and promoted to second registrant and then appointed as a regional registrar. He was arrested and will be produced before the ACB court in Rajamondri, officials said in a press release.
