ACB seeks custody of irrigation officers in illegal asset cases

Hyderabad: The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) may file a petition in court to seek police custody of lawsuits, presidency, irrigation and CAD departments related to cases of illegal assets.
The agency official arrested the defendant for accumulating illegal assets, who believed the defendant violated the rules worth Rs 20 lakh and the accumulated assets. However, officials are verifying details of the occupied property. Officials will also collect details from stamps and registrations for details about the Benami property.
During the raid, ACB officials found that the defendant purchased a villa in Kandapur, Gachibowli is a commercial space in Srinagar Colony, Madhapur, Narsingi, Narsingi, Amaravathi, Markook 20 acres of commercial space, six acres of farms, Quthbullapur and Kothagudem public attraction.
Sources said ACB officials need to question the defendants stepping over inspection of the property after noticing more suspicious transactions. The defendant’s bank locker has not been opened yet.
