Accused of fraud from Mumbai for fraud worth Rs 90 lakh

Gaochi City police arrested a man accused of cheating on job seekers, causing approximately Rs 9 million in income from Mumbai.

The arrest was Robin Zechariah, 40, of Thiruvalla. He allegedly got rid of fraud by working promisingly in West Asia. Kanamali police arrested him and the petition allegedly registered a petition by the resident of Puthatodu, which was allegedly defrauded of Rs 4.95 lakh. He was reportedly guaranteed to be placed in an oil rig in Kuwait. Robin was allegedly asked to travel to Mumbai to Kuwait and then hide.

The victim reportedly stayed in Mumbai for about two months but was unable to track the defendant. He returned to Kochi and filed a police complaint. Police tracked Robin by following the location of the moving tower. He gets stuck when he ventures out of his hotel room.

Robin gave birth in court and was remanded.
