Roads and Buildings, Investment and Infrastructure Minister BC Janardhan Reddy said the Andhra Pradesh government is decisively transforming the country into an aviation hub.
Speaking to the media after a series of high-level meetings with investors in the Secretariat, the minister said several formerly hesitant industrialists and investors are now showing interest in investing in the state.
“The positive investment climate in the state is attracting aviation sector leaders across the country,” he said.
During the conference, many industry leaders expressed their willingness to make substantial investments in aviation-related projects. Magnum Wings CEO Abhiram Chava proposed an investment of Rs 15 billion in EVTOL and drone manufacturing, initially at Rs 350 crore.
Captain Charles, director of the Aristotle Aviation Academy, expressed interest in establishing an aircraft simulation training department with an estimated investment of Rs 6 billion.
Captain Divya, director of Eplane Company, plans to invest Rs 12 billion in EVTOL and AIR taxi manufacturing industries and designated Rs 27 billion in the first phase.
