My grandmother played a strong role in films like Aandhi, Devdas and Bambai Ka Babu. Bengal films have always provided me with strong roles, so there is no good content.”

She added: “In Bollywood, I have never played a high-quality role. But I’m glad that the Hindi film industry is changing, and every character is playing a big role now, except for women. Even for supporting actor roles, digital media is not just a hero-based platform. Not only a hero-based platform. I think, I think people will stop going to the movies.

In the interview, Raima Sen revealed that her grandmother Suchitra Sen’s biography is in production, and she may have played a major role in it. “Yes, if a biopic is planned, my family will be fully involved. We don’t want anyone to make a splash in her life. I’m happy to act. My grandmother lives a very private life and even her neighbors don’t know her. She wants to quit the movie in that way.
