Adhir urges Mamata to convene a special conference on the WAKF amendment

Berhampore: Former Burhamper MP Adhir Choudhury on Saturday sought a special rally with the WAKF Amendment (WAKF Amendment) in other states.

“I have encountered the affected families several times and the homeless people of Dulian and Sugar Ganje. They don't know why they were tortured in the name of violent anti-Wakff protests.”

He claimed: “In the violence, CM also remained silent. She will now visit the troubled area on May 6 to apply balm on the affected wounds. But why did her police remain silent during the riot?”

Mr Choudhury also accused the BJP and the attempt to place the people at the center of the religious community, due to a deadly terrorist attack on a group of Hindu tourists in Jamu and Kashmir Pahalgam.

“Don't blame the ordinary Kashmiris. They always fight Pakistan.” Meanwhile, Malda Southern MP Isha Khan Choudhury accused the union's interior minister Amit Shah of cheering for the hatred that began in March and allegedly becoming a Bangladesh national, thus harassing migrant workers outside.

He claimed: “I asked Mr. Shah earlier to list the true and quantity of Bangladesh hidden here,” but he did not answer and did not allow me to speak in Parliament.”
