Adikavi Nannaya University Students Program Botanical Garden to Enhance Green Coverage on Campus

Adikavi Nannaya University will enhance the green cover of the campus. In addition, the university also recommends building a botanical garden inside its house. The Ministry of Forest will assist the university in implementing this initiative.
On Tuesday, University Vice President Professor S. Prasanna Sri and Assistant Conservators of Forest NV Sivarama Prasad inspected the locations on the university campus to establish the proposed botanical garden.
Professor Prasanna Sri said: “We have checked some of the locations where the botanical garden is established. The garden will have a variety of plant species and will help improve the green covering of the campus. In addition, it will be a resource and learning center for botanical students.”
NV Sivarama Prasad assured that the Ministry of Forests will help determine plant species suitable for the area.
