Congress says BRS reveals its repetitiveness on Kancha Gachibowli land

Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee criticized Bharat Rashtra Samiti (BRS), questioning its sincerity for the land of Kancha Gachibowli, and asking about the luxury apartments belonging to my family group, how to be adjacent to the same land parcel, obtained permission and environmental clearance during the BRS regime.

At least BRS now officially acknowledges that the 400 acres of Kancha Gachibowli belong to the state government, said Sama Rammohan Reddy, chairman of media and communications at TPCC. He said the BRS stands for the High Power Commission and believes it is “considered as a forest”. What prevented the BRS government from formally declaring it while in power? “What do they want to do with this land? Like another Myhome luxury apartment they’ve already done,” he accused.

Mr Reddy also claimed that the BRS government forced the University of Hyderabad to plant trees naturally for its Haritha Haram project. Today, none of these plants survived, and hundreds of trees were uprooted. He asked: “KCR himself went to the University of Hyderabad to start planting seedlings in 2015-16. You are ready to debate this Harish Rao.”

He accused the BRS of obvious hypocrisy and asked whether they had not supervised the massive urban expansion in Hyderabad, including projects in power. Have they conducted EIA for major projects? Did the BRS government allocate land during its term of office for commercial purposes such as mining or industrial estates? He asked.
