Shabana Azmi recently settled down with Javed Akhtar to marry actress writer Honey Irani. The Arth actress joined Filmfare for a conversation and revealed her backlash for becoming a feminist and “stamped” the right to honey. For those who were unproven, Shabana married Javed on December 9, 1984. But after Javed married Shabana, he divorced Honey, but they continued to be kind over the years.
Speaking about the decisions made by Shabana and Javed, she said: “I am a model for this feminist and I do something that cannot be explained. Azmi further explains how they maintain the sanity of their relationship by not explaining their situation to people. “I think if I start explaining the situation with it, it will do more harm to the people involved and the families involved, and it is better to keep quiet,” she said.
