After the government strikes in Pakistan terror camps, the whole party meeting was held on May 8

The government convened a party-wide meeting at 11 a.m. on Thursday, May 8, as India's cross-border strike on Pakistan's terrorist infrastructure and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (POK) (POK) exacerbated national security measures. Union Minister Kiren Rijiju made the announcement on Wednesday through an article on X, saying the meeting will be held in the G-074 committee room of the Parliament Library Building in the New Delhi Parliament Building.
Rijiju said on X: “The government has held a meeting of the whole party leaders at 11 am on May 8, 2025 at the Parliament Complex in New Delhi.”

The senior meeting was a group supported by the Indian armed forces to Pakistan (including Jaish-e-MohammedLashkar-e-Taiba and Hizbul Mujahideen.


According to the Ministry of Defense, the Indian Air Force encountered four targets within the Pakistani border, and in POK, five other terrorists were neutralized. The ministry stressed that the strike was “centralized, measured and non-elevating” and clearly directed that any Pakistani military assets were avoided to prevent wider escalation.Also read: Why strike against Muridke? The military operation was in response to the April 22 terrorist attacks in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, where 26 people (including 25 Indian citizens and a Nepalese national) were widely described as the worst civilian terrorist attack since the 2008 Mumbai attack.
