AI-powered cameras detectable, tracking Jumbos in Bandy Pierre National Park

Bangalore: In the era of artificial intelligence (AI), wildlife conservation is not in leveraging modern technology because Bandipur Tiger Reserve started a project to detect and monitor AI-powered cameras, which will initially begin at Bandipur’s range of Bandipur to mitigate Man-Animal-Animal-Animal-Animal-Animal-Animal-Animal-Animal-Animal-Animal-Animal-Animal-Animal-Animal-Animal-Animal-Animal-Animal-Animal-Animal-Animal-Animal-Animal-Animal-Animal-Animal-Animal-Animal-Animal-Animal-Animal-Animal-Animal-Animal-Animal-Animal-Animal-Animal-Animal-Animal-Animal-Animal-Animal-Animal-Animal-Animal-Animal-Animal-Animal-Animal-Animal sentersters.
The idea of AI cameras is to detect at least 50 meters of elephants before crossing the forest area into the agricultural field to allow grass on crops and remind forest personnel to drive the elephants/herds back to the forest and remind farmers/villages to take action in a timely manner.
Early efforts by Tiger Reserve officials, digging elephant trenches, solar fences, railways and other measures have been barely successful.
Members of Adavi Alert Foundation, together with Advitiya Labs and Nikon India Private Limited, developed an AI-powered camera system to detect and track elephants in conflict areas with the Karnataka Forest Department, to develop members of the ADAVI Alert Foundation, members of the ADAVI Alert Foundation, members of the ADAVI Alert Foundation, members of the ADAVI Alert Foundation, members of the Advitiya Labs and Nikon India Private Limited, took over the AI-powered camera project with members of the Adavi Alert Foundation.
With AI-powered cameras, sources related to the project told Deccan Chronicle that the camera will remind foresters to track elephants and help them push animals to stay in forest areas.
“We are working on the project and it will take about 3 months before the project enters Bandipur to mitigate human conflict situations,” the source said.
As of now, the project is working in a department where cameras along the border are placed between other factors to prevent elephants from deviating from reserves. The OMKAR range was chosen because the series recorded conflicts of high characters, followed by conflicts of others and observations of projects in the OMKAR range, so the technology will be further improved and extended to other ranges.
Up to 19 villages land near the Omkar Mountains, with elephants often flowing out of the reserves to raid crops, and some others result in human deaths/salaries.
As a technology partner, Advitiya Labs is working to create prototypes of AI models, while Nikon India Private Limited, as a device partner, contributes by providing high-quality images that will help train AI systems to more accurately identify elephants.
Elephants often die from electricity because they break into fields to graz on crops and if they are parked in forest areas, the elephant’s life can be saved.
According to sources, the project exudes confidence that AI-powered cameras will promote peaceful coexistence between humans and elephants.
