AIADMK nominates NDA’s Rajya Sabha number to 123 nominated members

The ruling coalition already has a majority in the House of Lords, with 236 members currently having nine vacancies. In fact, despite the AIADMK’s vote on the bill, the House recently approved the WAQF amendment.
Currently, with the support of Kartikeya Sharma, an independent MP in Haryana, NDA has a 119 strength in the House of Lords, who won the election with the support of BJP.
Now, with the support of four AIADMK MPs, the BJP-led coalition will have a strength of 123. Therefore, even if the full strength of the House of Lords reaches the full strength of 245, the Judgment Alliance will be in the majority.
In addition to this, the NDA also counts on the support of six nominated members, so the effective force is 125. All six are nominated by the BJP and nominate members usually with the parties that sent them to the House.
With AIDMK MPs joining the Finance Minister, their effective strength will be 129, and it may reach 134 or higher once the government fills the vacancy. Of the nine vacancies in the House of Representatives, four of which were nominated members appointed for the centre, four from Jamu and Kashmir and one from Andhra Pradesh, ruled by NDA Ally TDP.BJP, which included 98 members, including two nominated members, including Rajya Sabha. Among other NDA allies, JD (U) has 4 members, NCP Three, TDP 2 and Shiv Sena, AGP, PMK, RLD, RLM, Tamil Maanila Congress (Moopanar), NPP, JD (S), RPI (Athawale), UPPL and MNF, one of them.
