Air India to run two additional flights from Srinagar on Wednesday

New Delhi: Air India will have two more flights from Srinagar to Delhi and Mumbai on Wednesday. On Tuesday, terrorists opened fire on a famous meadow near the town of Pahargam in Kashmir, killing 26 people, mainly tourists.

“In view of the current situation, Air India will have two other flights from Srinagar to Delhi and Mumbai on Wednesday, April 23,” Air India said in an article published on X.

Meanwhile, Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde talked to Civil Aviation Minister K Rammohan Naidu about the tragic incident in Pahalgam, and tourists in Maharashtra were killed.

According to Sinder’s office, he has asked Naidu to make special arrangements to transport the body of the deceased from Srinagar to Mumbai immediately.

In response, Naidu promised that all necessary measures will be taken and special arrangements will be taken to facilitate the return of the earliest bodies.

On Wednesday, Air India will fly from Srinagar to Delhi at 11.30am and from Srinagar to Mumbai at 12pm.

“All our flights to and from Srinagar will continue to operate on a schedule. Air India has also provided passengers with free rescheduling and full refunds until a confirmed booking for passengers on April 30,” the airline said.
