On Wednesday night, March 26, a video surfaced on social media showing Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s car hit by the best bus in Mumbai. The incident quickly attracted the attention of fans, who expressed concern about the safety of the beloved actress, who is also the daughter of Abhishek Bachchan, Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan.
According to a report by Liberty magazine, the small collision occurred near the bungalow of Amitabh Bachchan on Juhutara Road. However, this led to a melee, where a bodyguard reportedly photographed the bus driver. Later, the staff of the bungalow apologized and the driver chose not to go to the police.
According to sources, the best bus (Road 8021, 231) left the Juhu bus warehouse only when the luxury car (MH02-GG-5050) was gently touched near the Amitabh Bachchan residence. The bus driver stopped to check, but a bouncing man from the bungalow reportedly came and slapped him.
The driver called the police by dialing 100 and reporting the incident. When the police arrived, the bungalow supervisor apologized for the bodyguard’s behavior. After apologizing, the driver chose not to take legal action and headed to Santacruz Station.
Meanwhile, on the work side, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan ended up in two Ponniyin Selvan movies directed by Mani Ratnam. The epic Tamil historical action drama combined to earn Rs 8 billion at the global box office. The first part was released in September 2022, and the second part was released in April 2023.
Aishwarya’s last Bollywood release was the 2018 music comedy Fanney Khan, who also starred in Anil Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao. Directed by Atul Manjrekar, the film bombed at the box office and could not even recover its budget. Fanney Khan’s global box office is only Rs 2 billion.
