Ajith Kumar’s latest release, Bood Bad Ugly, beat the actor’s previous film Vidaamuyarchi, which was released at the box office in India in February 2025. The film is directed by Adhik Ravicandran and produced by the Mythri filmmaker.

The Tamil action comedy “What an ugly ugly” titled Ajith Kumar was released in the theater on April 10 with Mahavir Jayanti. The film, directed by Adhik Ravicandran, is based on the retired gangster AK aka Red Dragon, played by superstar Ajith, who returns to his violent way when his son is wrongly arrested. Good or bad ugly are also the appearance of Trisha Krishnan, Arjun Das, Sunil, Karthikeya developer, Priya Prakash Varrier, Prabhu, Prasanna, Tinnu Anand, Tinnu Anand and Ragu Ram.
After becoming Ajith Kumar’s second-largest opening film with a net collection of Rs 2925 crore, the good and bad ugly attractions fell the next day and collected Rs 150 crore. The film rebounded on Saturday with revenue of Rs 1,975 crore. According to early estimates by industry tracker Sacnilk, Bood Bad Incly made Rs 205 billion on its fourth day, with its four-day weekend totaling Rs 845 billion. When it comes to its global collection, Ajith Kumar’s film made a global box office of Rs 11.25 billion in the first three days.
Director Adhik Ravicandran is funded by Mythri filmmakers. Interestingly, another movie from the same production company was released on April 10 – Jaat. The Hindi action, led by Sunny Deol, was exciting and led by Telugu film producer Gopichand Malineni in his debut in Bollywood, charging Rs 400 crore on the opening weekend.
What an ugly one is Ajith Kumar’s second release this year. He was previously discovered in the action thriller Vidaamuyarchi, which reappeared in February 2025. Director of Magizh Thirumeni, who also won a network of Rs 8035 crore in India and received a bonus of Rs 135,655 crore with Trisha Krishnan as the leader.
