Chapter 2 of Bollywood star Akshay Kumar’s new movie “Kesari” is attracting a lot of love from the audience. Thanks to positive reputation, the movie’s box office numbers rose over the weekend.

The film’s revenue increased by 30%. According to industry tracker Sacnilk, Kesari Chapter 2 received an impressive Rs 122.5 crore on day three. The film was released on April 18 and its first day starts at Rs 7775 crore. Revenues on the second day were Rs 9.75 crore, showing steady growth over the weekend thanks to positive comments.


The total box office collection of Kesari Chapter 2 has now reached Rs 29.75 crore. With strong word of mouth and good reviews, the film is expected to cross Rs 50 crore by the end of the first week.

Kesari Chapter 2 tells the unknown story of the Jallianwala Bagh massacre. The film shows the consequences of the outrageous genocide, where C Shankaran Nair stands up against the British Empire and brings General Dyer and Viceroy Commission to court in an attempt to expose his crimes to the world. The film is directed by premiere director Karan Singh Tyagi. This movie is currently being released in a cinema near you.
