All regional hospitals start daycare Cancer Center Center: Purandeswari

Vijayawada: AP BJP President and MP Daggubati Purandeswari said India, led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, became Arogya Bharat (Healthy India) due to the progressive health plan adopted by the coalition government.
Purandeswari actually laid the foundation for the Cancer Hospital and Research Institute of the Citizen Forces in Mullapudi, Krishna District, highlighting the revolutionary progress made in cancer treatment. She praised a volunteer organization for the Citizen Forces in a bid to move forward, especially for cancer treatment for vulnerable groups.
Members of Congress expressed hope that the Citizens Force will be a guide to providing cancer care to the poor. She stressed the importance of a service-oriented health care sector. She praised P. Ramesh Babu and T. Arjuna Rao’s efforts to establish the Cancer Institute of Citizen Forces with a lofty vision of service, strengthening India’s deep tradition of seeing doctors as sacred therapists.
Purandeswari announced that the central government plans to establish daycare cancer centres in all regional hospitals over the next three years to 200 centres by the end of the fiscal year. She noted that the centre has placed great emphasis on cancer care, allocating Rs 99,858.56 crore to the health and family welfare sector and Rs 3,900.69 crore to the health research sector in the league budget.
Members of Congress pointed out that the government has exempted basic tariffs on several essential drugs to make treatments for cancer and other rare or chronic diseases more affordable.
