Ambedkar Museum is open to the public

Hyderabad: More than 30,000 people visited the museum along the statue of Dr. Br Ambedkar in NTR Marg in Hussainsagar on Monday, which established his birth anniversary. HMDA officials said the museum features a small episode in the life of the Father of the Constitution and will continue to open for a month. After that, turn it off for upgrade.

Although the statue was opened two years ago by Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao, the BRS government did not open the museum.

Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka, along with Ministers Ponnam Prabhakar and Damodar Rajanarsimha, unveiled the facility after paying tribute to Dr Ambedkar.

Rajya Sabha member Anil Kumar Yadav, former MP Anjan Kumar Yadav, HMDA Commissioner Sarfaraz Ahmad and others paid tribute to Dr Ambedkar. They examined artworks and photos in the museum and saw Dr. Ambedkar’s lifelong audiovisual speech.

Visitors explored the curated exhibitions that highlighted the lives and legacy of Indian constitutional architects. The museum’s lobby responds to the slogan “Zor Se Bolo Zor Se Bolo, Jai Bhim Jai Bhim”.

Ashok Kumar, a resident of Sitaphalmandi, said in a speech by Deccan Chronicle: “The artwork is very well made. Each work shows a different story and meaning about Babasaheb.” Another visitor, Sai Navya, said: “I took my daughter to show her and teach her the problems Dr. Ambedkar faced, everything he did for the good of our country and what he achieved. These photos describe his life in detail.”

Art students from all over the city contributed to the exhibition. Students from the Jawaharlal Nehru University of Architecture and Fine Arts, the Bonfire Design School, the Ashoka School of Planning and Architecture, and other colleges have created and submitted works of art for the museum.

Among them, R. Vamshi Krishna and her team from Ashoka School of Planning and Architecture have created a unique perspective-based work of art. “Each box represents the struggles Baba Sahb faces and how he overcomes them and rises to the top,” he explained.
