Meerut woman, lover kills husband, sealed corpse in cement-filled drum

Meerut: Police said Tuesday that a woman and her lover allegedly stabbed her husband to death, dismembered his body, sealing the remains in a drum filled with cement. They said the body was recovered and both were arrested.
The incident occurred in Indira Nagar, when businessman Navy employee Saurabh Rajput (29) disappeared on March 4.
He said police detained his wife Musk (27) and her lover Sahir (25), according to suspicions. During the interrogation, the two admitted to stabbing Saurabh to death on March 4.
The body has been sent for post-mortem and the case has been conducted based on complaints from Saurabh’s family. The official said the defendant had been arrested. According to the victim’s family, Musk tried to mislead them by sending a message about Sorab’s phone call.
Singh said she went on a hill station vacation with Sahir after the crime. Police said Saurabh, from Indranagar Phase 2 of Brahmpuri, set out from Gairipura in 2016. Their family reportedly were unhappy with their relationship, resulting in the couple living with their three-year-old daughter in a rented house in Indranagar 1, respectively, and living with their three-year-old daughter.
