Earlier today, the Union Home Minister Amit Shah paid tribute to the victims of the attack by laying a garland in a poignant ceremony outside the Srinagar police control room.
Shah also met with the victim’s family. Their faces were filled with deep sorrow, pleading to the Minister of the Interior as they shook with grief, expressing the depth of their suffering after the tragic loss of their loved ones in the attack.
Congressman KC Venugopal and Jammu-Kashmir Congress President Tariq Hameed Karra also paid tribute to the victims of the Pahalgam terrorist attack at the ceremony.
The attack took place on Tuesday in the Pahalgam area of ​​the picturesque Anantnag area, where once famous for its tranquility became a place of mourning. The attack was one of the largest terrorist attacks in the region since the abolition of Article 370 in 2019.
Today’s political parties in the region, as well as the business union in the region, collectively called for a complete shutdown of victims’ families in the Kashmir Valley and condemned the attack.
Earlier, on Tuesday, the Union’s Interior Minister chaired a high-level security meeting with all agencies after arriving in Srinagar last night. He said earlier that those involved in this terrorist act would not be spared.
