Union Home Minister Amit Shah paid tribute to chhatrapati shivaji maharaj on 12 April 2025 (12 April 2025) to his 345th anniversary in Raigad Fort, Maharashtra.
Mr. Shah, accompanied by Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, his representatives Eknath Shinde and Ajit Pawar, BJP MP Udayanraje Bhosale and State Minister Shivendrasinh Bhosale, are descendants of the Marassa warrior king.
The Union Minister arrived in Regard from Pune in the morning.
Earlier, Mr. Shah and other VIPs paid tribute to Jijabai, the mother of Shivaji Maharaj, in Pachad, near Legard Castle.
Mr. Shah will participate in various programs at Raigad Fort and have lunch with NCP MP at the latter residence of Raigad Sunil Tatkare, Sutarwadi.

Speaking to reporters, Mr Tatkare said there will be no political discussions during lunch.
The lunch meeting was held against the background of the differences between the Mahayuti allies and the Guardian minister Post in the Raigad district.
Mr. Fadnavis had appointed Aditi Tatkare, the Minister of Guardianship, as Minister of Guardianship, but this decision must be held up after opposing Shiv Sena, who wanted Bharat Gogawale to be in the post.
NCP MPs said the Guardian minister issue did not attend the agenda for lunch meeting.
