Amitab Buckchang, actress who met Sanjay Dutt

Sonam Khan shared this as she jumped into the pool, panicking and trying to catch Rishi Kapoor. Soon, Aditya Chopra realizes Sonam Khan’s fear and jumps into the pool to rescue her.
Sonam Khan, born in Bakhtavar Khan, radiated Bollywood after the release of the 1989 film Tridev and became overnight. The actress was popular, with high demand in the 1980s and 1990s, but she quit her career after getting married. Sonam Khan won the star overnight with Tridev, but she made her debut with Vijay from Yash Chopra’s Vijay opposite Rishi Kapoor. In an interview with News 18 last year, Sonam Khan revealed a shocking event in the film.
Sonam Khan shared that Yash Chopra’s son filmmaker Aditya Chopra saved her from drowning during the Vijay shooting. Sonam Khan said that if Aditya Chopra hadn’t saved her that day, it would have turned into misery.
Sonam Khan revealed that in one of the scenes, she was going to wear a bikini and jump into the pool. Yash Chopra advises the actress to learn how to swim, but Sonam Khan gives a shot without learning skills, which only brings trouble. “I never thought about learning to swim, we shot in a hotel in Bangalore. It was a single scene, Rishi Ji walked from one point, I walked from another point, we had to jump into the pool. I didn’t try to tell anyone I couldn’t swim, so we both jumped into the pool, so it was a Sonam Khan.”
Sonam Khan shared this as she jumped into the pool, panicking and trying to catch Rishi Kapoor. Soon, Aditya Chopra realizes Sonam Khan’s fear and jumps into the pool to rescue her.
“I jumped into the pool and didn’t know how to swim. I was actually grabbing Rishi Ji and pulling him down. People thought it was part of the shooting until Aditya Chopra jumped into the pool and saved me. I could have drowned or overwhelmed Rishi Ji that day. It was a horrible experience.”
“Yash Ji was very disappointed. He told me, ‘You’re a useless girl, didn’t learn to swim, what are you doing?’ The whole department was there, but only Adia realizes that I actually drowned.
As long as Sonam Khan becomes a part of the film industry, he has a successful career. She has made 35 movies in eight years, but her iconic “Oye Oye” song is still remembered by Tridev.
Sonam Khan retired from Bollywood in 1994 but is now eager to make a comeback.
