My mother quietly listened to his poem as he read, ‘Kya Karu Samvedna Lekar Tumhari.’ She cried, the friend was alone in the room, which was a garland and came out, asking him to put it on her.
Shyama Bachchan, the first wife of the famous Indian poet Harivash Rai Bachchan, married him in 1926 and died of tuberculosis in 1932. In 1941, Harivansh Rai married Teji Bachchan, the couple became parents of their two sons Amitabh Bachchan in 1942 and became Ajitabh Bachchan in 1947.
