Fire broke out at the dance academy in Kochi

A fire broke out at a dance academy in Elamakkara here on Saturday night. The college operates outside the top floor of the three-story building.

Five fire bids were used to put out the fire. After the incident, nearby power lines were disconnected. A lab and IT company runs on the floor below. Firefighters managed to prevent the fire from spreading to these floors.

The suspected short circuit caused the fire, with preliminary estimates that the loss was about Rs 3 million.
