Amrita Vidyalayam marks 25 years of world record

Coimbatore’s Amrita Vidylayayam set 27 world records at the Amrita Vidylayayam World Record Festival in 2025, an event aimed at commemorating the school’s 25 years of educational services.
Under the management of Mata Amritanandamayi Math, the school celebrates this milestone by bringing students, teachers and staff together through cooperation.
According to the agency’s press release, the record has been certified by Elite World Records, Asian Record Academy, Indian Record Academy and Tamilan Record Book under close supervision by 27 judges from three countries and seven different Indian states.
The event was held from April 3 to April 8, and various schools also attended the meeting. The citation ceremony for the event was held on April 11 at Nallampalayam, Coimbatore. There are a total of 3,091 students from international kilograms to Level XII, as well as 154 dedicated educators and 150 support staff, the release said.
27 The world’s records span a wide range of disciplines. These include special records specifically for Amma, achievements in the art craft and four records, as well as academic excellence accounting for 11 records.
The students also performed well, obtained a record and demonstrated their physical abilities through two sports records. According to the release, their commitment to environmental care is emphasized by three records of environment and sustainability, while their cognitive abilities are shown in the memory and thinking skills category, obtaining a record.
The festival also celebrates literary talent and has two records in literature and language, and spiritual unity is expressed through two records in spiritual and cultural expression.
The event was adjusted by Rabih Baalbaki, CEO of the Executive Division of the American Elite World Records LLC and Lau Thien Poh, CEO of the Singapore Elite World Records Management Team. Also present were Noura Al Merhabi, global ambassador and judge of Elite World Records, and Ameet K. Hingorani, Ameet K. Hingorani of Elite World Records.
Ak Senthil Kumar, ambassador and senior judge of Asian Records Academy, and P. Jeganathan, senior record manager and former deputy editor at Indian Records Academy. J. Maragatham, recording manager of Tamilan Records, contributed her expertise to the event.
Swamini bhaktipriyamrita Prana, manager of Nallampalayam, Ettimadai and Kalapatti campuses, and Swamili Muktamritaprana, Swamini Muktamritaprana played a key role in promoting the overall vision of the festival. Their efforts were obtained by S. Muralidharan, Education Officer of Amrita Vidyalayam in Tamil Nadu, and Education Officer of Nandagopal C. Nandagopal C., General Management Manager of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeeham.
At the school level, Amrita Vidylayam, Director of Nallampalayam, K. Jayajothy, and Academic Coordinator B. Padmaja and Principal Mr. Sudha provided consistent leadership and coordination to ensure the smooth and successful execution of the event.
As many as 92 independent witnesses and timekeepers played a crucial role in ensuring that every record attempt is authentic and well documented, the release said.
