Rosenblatt Securities reported that Apple could face about $39.5 billion in tariffs through its iPhones and other products, as Donald Trump’s comprehensive tariffs on Cupertino’s global supply chain are largely dependent on China, Vietnam, India and other Asian countries.
To offset the direct impact, Apple will need to significantly increase its product prices in the United States, which can reduce consumer demand for products, analysts said. However, Apple is believed to have stockpiled in the U.S. over the next few months to avoid immediate price hikes.
