Andhra Pradesh Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan Moots ‘War Room’ to monitor drinking water supply

Deputy Chief Minister and Panchayat Raj & Rural Development (PR&RD) K. Pawan Kalyan has directed officials to set up a “drinking water war room” at the Rural Water Supply (RWS) department headquarters, and collectors continuously monitor water supply conditions and resolve issues with minimal time.

Last year, MGNRegs in the state spent Rs 10,600 crore, including wages of Rs 61,900 crore. He added that as part of the “Palle Panduga”, a lot of development work is being performed.
