Andhra Pradesh Government. Sanctions for DISCOM with tariff subsidy of Rs 4,471 crore, 2025-26 in Q1

The Andhra Pradesh government on Saturday imposed an administrative sanction on AP Power Sodatination Commits (APPCC) to increase the early payment of tariff subsidies to Discoms (Distribution Company) in the first quarter of 2025-26.

The Assistant Secretary of the Ministry of Energy’s Government and Drafting Officer has been directed to transfer the approved amount (Rs 44,71 crore) into the bank account of Discoms.
