Andhra Pradesh Governor expresses grief over the death of seven devotees in the collapse of the wall at the Siharam Temple

Andhra Pradesh Governor S. Abdul Nazeer expressed deep sorrow at the wall collapse incident during Chandanotsavam in Sri Varaha Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Devastanam, in which 7 devotees died, many of whom suffered injuries on April 29, 2025 (April 29).
Mr. Abdul Nazeer expressed his heartfelt condolences to the families of the deceased and directed Visaka Patnam area officials to provide better medical assistance to the injured.
NDRF operation
Meanwhile, the Regional Response Center (RRC) of the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) conducted structural search and rescue (CSSR) at the site where the Simhachalam Temple wall collapsed.Th Battalion Commander VVN Prasanna Kumar.
Mr. Prasanna Kumar told Hindus.
The commander added: “Instructions have been provided to NDRF personnel to coordinate search and rescue operations with regional administration, National Disaster Response Force (SDRF) and fire department officials.”
