Andhra Pradesh Sports Policy, Model of Others: Condapari

Visakhapatnam: Kondapalli Srinivas, micro minister for Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME), said the state’s sports policy sets an example for others.
Addressing participants at the 3rd National Taekwondo Training Symposium held at Rajiv Sports Ground in Vizianagaram, Srinivas said the state offers 3% reservations for Sportsen under the new policy and provides 3% reservations for job openings in the new policy and provides large infrastructure for sports.
“We will be the most research and sports,” Srinivas said.
The minister said human resources are the country’s assets. He hopes every student will perform well in sports and become a pride in the state and the region.
Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has always attached great importance to sports, he said. He said the government has appointed physical education teachers in every school and has proposed to establish sports fields in each area. The minister added that efforts are being made to establish a sports university in the state and urged students to take advantage of the opportunities offered by the government and become great athletes.
He checked the training given to the players and spoke with coaches and players in Odisha, Chhattisgarh, Kerala, Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.
Taekwondo District Association President Gurana Ayyalu, Secretary of State Chenugopal, International athlete and Taekwondo coach Abbas Sheki, Secretary of the Tlangana State Taekwondo Association K. Srihari, Makkkuv Sridhar and other VIPs, coaches and athletes participated in the program.
