Justice Maturi Girija Priyadarshini of the Telangana High Court passed away on Sunday (4 May 2025) in Hyderabad.
The fatal remains of the judge are preserved in Villa No. 14, Vasanth City, Hafeezpet. The last ceremony will be held on Monday in Jubilee Hills Mahaprasthanam.
Justice Priyadarsini received her law degree from Visakhapatnam in 1995 and a postgraduate degree in Labor and Industrial Law (LLM) from the University of Andhra in 1997.
She was appointed to the District Court judge through direct recruitment and began serving as an additional District Judge in November 2008.
Justice Priyadalini was promoted and sworn in as a judge in the High Court of Telangana State in March 2022.
