The series is adapted from the graphic novel by Iyanu: Wonder’s Children, Youneek Studios and Dark Horse Comics. Dark Horse Comics is known for publishing Umbrella Academy and Hellboy. The novel’s creator Roye Okupe adapted his work to screen. He is the creator, executive producer and performer of the animation series.

Voice actor

Storyline
The story tells the story of Iyanu, a young girl who lives in a magical world. She spends time studying history and art. She wants to leave her world and live a normal life. The trailer reveals that she is the chosen one. Her connection to nature plays a key role in her mission. The series hints at growing conflict and possible wars.
