Results of the Lower Secondary School Scholarship (LSS) and Advanced Scholarship (USS) exams were announced Wednesday.
The General Education Department said a total of 28.02% of students are eligible for LSS scholarships, while 42.55% are considered eligible for USS scholarships.
A total of 1,08,421 students took the LSS exam, while 30,380 students cleared it. For the USS exam, 38,782 of the 91,151 students who took the exam passed.
A total of 1,640 children were found to be eligible for the gifted children’s program.
