Anurag Kashyap breaks silence amid rumors of quitting the movie, telling haters to “lick your own **”

In March this year, Anurag Kashyap revealed that he had moved out of Mumbai. Although he has not confirmed his exact location, reports suggest he has settled in Bangalore.
Filmmaker Anurag Kashyap strongly refuted the rumors that he left Mumbai and left the film production. In his response on Friday morning, he clarified that he was “busy than Shah Rukh Khan” and that his work schedule was packed until 2028.
He went on Twitter and wrote: “I have moved the city. I haven’t left the movie. For everyone who thinks I’m frustrated and disappearing, I’m here, I’m busier than Shah Rukh Khan (I have to be, I’m not making a lot of money) (Sic).”
He added: “I won’t have dates until 2028. I hope there are five directors this year, or maybe three now, and maybe three early next year. I have the longest IMDB and I’m very employed to say no to 3 projects a day, so please draw your own C@&r, or if you have the flexibility to lick your own A&&(SIC).”

Anurag Kashyap has previously shared that he decided to move out of Mumbai and leave Bollywood, calling the Hindi film industry “too toxic”. In his opinion, he was frustrated with the filmmakers, who are now focusing only on the box office.
He said: “I’ve left Mumbai. I want to stay away from filmmakers. The industry has become too toxic. Everyone is chasing unrealistic goals, trying to make the next movie of Rs 500 or Rs 80 billion. The creative atmosphere has gone.”
Anurag Kashyap has previously spoken about his desire to explore the South Indian film industry and expressed frustration with Bollywood. He said: “I’m going to the south. I want to go to places that are exciting. Otherwise, I’ll die from the elderly. I’m very disappointed and disgusted with my industry. I’m disgusted with the mindset.”
