CM requires all groups to be student-centered and says the course should meet the requirements

Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy was with the Vice-Chancellor and Officers at the VCS meeting on April 4, 2025.
Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy stressed the need for student-centric universities in the state, directing that university introductions will ensure students’ future courses.
The university should introduce courses that are in demand in the market so that students from different backgrounds can obtain employment opportunities. The chief minister made the comments at a meeting with the state’s vice president on Friday.
He said that most students from rural areas cannot afford private sector education, which is the responsibility of government university administrators to ensure that these students are prepared for future needs. This is necessary when students with good financial support join private institutions to ensure that students from poor communities can withstand competition.
Mr. Revanth Reddy stressed the need to cancel the courses that lost relevance and replace them with new courses to prepare students to meet the requirements of emerging technologies and changing dynamics. He suggested that professors who teach the old methods should assume administrative responsibilities so that the university does not become a rehabilitation center for certain categories of professors.
The Deputy Prime Minister brought notification issues to the Chief Minister, such as professor shortages, buildings and other amenities. Mr. Revanth Reddy assured the government’s commitment to funding improvements to university infrastructure and asked them to submit a comprehensive report on their requirements.
