AP Govt launches slot machine booking facility at the registrar office

Vijayawada: To improve transparency and efficiency, revenue, registration and stamp minister Anagani Satya Prasad opened a slot machine booking facility at the registration service in Andhra Pradesh on Friday. In the first phase, the facility has been launched in all major registrars offices in 26 districts and plans to expand it to the rest of the state’s offices in a phased manner by the end of this month.

Minister Satya Prasad stressed during this period that the state government is committed to the welfare of its citizens. He stressed that the introduction of slot booking will eliminate delays in the registration process. “With these facilities, there will be no scope for corruption, which will ensure smoother and faster public,” he said.

The minister also announced measures to resolve land disputes to ensure that the government is taking steps to simplify the process and minimize conflict.

He also revealed that the state is eliminating the NALA (Non-agricultural Land Assessment) bill and has proposed a new policy to further simplify land-related procedures.
