AP HRD Minister Lokesh gets appointment from PM Modi, cutting Anantapur visit

Andhra Pradesh’s Minister of IT and Human Resources Development (HRD) Nara Lokesh on Friday had to shorten his three-day trip to the Anantapur region as he appointed Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Mr Lokesh attended the wedding of MLA Surendra Babu’s daughter in Kalyandurg when he received information about his appointment with Mr Modi, which prompted him to end the program in the area.

Mr. Lokesh was originally scheduled to attend the district-level meeting of the party leader and Tiranga rally. He also plans to serve as a special guest on Saturday at the 14th annual meeting of JNTUA. Mr Lokesh is expected to leave New Delhi from Vijayawada.
